In collaboration with Chester County AVOID (Advocates for Victims of Impaired Driving) and the Crime Victims Center, CTC co-sponsors a Positive PROM Messaging campaign/contest.
First rolled out in March of 2016, the program encourages seniors to create a prom message for the community on the risks and alternatives to impaired driving and underage drinking and drug use. In the spring of 2017, campaign was rolled out to both the junior AND senior classes for increased participation. Prizes included free prom tickets, salon, tuxedo, hair and florist gift cards for the winners.
For the 2018 season, seniors signed a Pledge Banner to be Drug and Alcohol Free. Over 1,200 signatures from all three high schools can be seen below.
